YARD HOUSE TO OPEN SECOND LAS VEGAS LOCATION AT RED ROCK RESORT

Award-Winning Restaurant is Slated for Spring 2010 Opening

Las Vegas, Nev. (September 17, 2009) – Yard House, an award-winning, Southern California-based restaurant known for its extensive menu of American fusion fare, contemporary music library and one of the world's largest selections of draft beer, will open its second Las Vegas location this spring at Red Rock Resort. Yard House made its Las Vegas debut in early 2008 at Town Square Las Vegas, which is one of the company's highest grossing restaurants.

Yard House, a concept that has revolutionized the restaurant industry, was built on the simple concept of great food, classic rock, and the world’s largest selection of draft beer. Guests will be treated to a menu of American fusion fare, 130 taps of beer, and a play list of music that ranges from classic rock to contemporary pop. The menu is the creation of award-winning Executive Chef and Partner Carlito Jocson, who takes American classic and adds flavors commonly used in Asian cooking, and features more than 100 items including appetizers, salads, sandwiches, rice and pasta dishes, as well as steak and seafood.

Perhaps the pulse of the operations is the glass-enclosed keg room, which houses as many as 600 kegs and some 1,000 gallons of beer at any given time. The keg room at the new Red Rock restaurant will be custom designed to allow restaurant guests to walk through the area. This restaurant will also feature the addition of exterior patio seating that will be adjacent to the existing water fountain pools located on the Charleston side of the resort property.

“We have been looking to open another location in Las Vegas, and Red Rock was at the top of our list,” says Harald Herrmann, partner and CEO of the company. “The Las Vegas market has been extremely successful for us and having two restaurants on different sides of town will better serve the community.”

Readers of the Las Vegas Review Journal voted Yard House as the Best New Restaurant to Open in Las Vegas in 2008. Industry publications, including Nation’s Restaurant News and Cheers Magazine, have lauded Yard House, as having the “Best Beer List.”

Yard House joins Red Rock’s award winning restaurant selections that includes T-Bones Chophouse, Terra Rossa Italian, Hachi Modern Japanese, The Feast Buffet, the Bagel Cafe, the Grand Cafe, Cabo Mexican, LBS: the Burger Joint and a food court with seven additional food venues. The new Yard House restaurant will be located in the space formerly occupied by the Salt Lick BBQ restaurant.

Yard House locations cans be found throughout Southern California, greater Phoenix, south Florida, Waikiki Beach, Las Vegas, Kansas City and suburban Denver and Chicago. It will make its Texas debut this October in San Antonio followed by a location in Houston in November with Dedham, Massachusetts, and Gulfstream, Florida opening within the next year.
