Station Casinos' restaurants can help dads and kids make Mother's Day special

Avoid creating a disaster in the kitchen this Mother's Day! Treat your wife or mom to a delicious meal on Mother's Day at Station Casinos' properties, as a variety of restaurants will offer everything from specialty food items to tasting menus to help make Mother's Day on Sunday, May 11 extraordinary. Mother's Day specials are only available Sunday, May 11 unless otherwise noted.

Terra Rossa at Red Rock Resort is offering a four-course Italian tasting menu specially made by Executive Chef Renato De Pirro. The menu is $59 per person and must be ordered by a minimum of two people. Among the items offered, is a Berkshire pork chop with red onion chutney and a root medley. T-bones Chophouse will be offering a special brunch menu featuring champagne, a variety of salads, a seafood display, variety of sushi items from Hachi, Beef Wellington with truffle sauce, desserts and much more. The specialty brunch is $65 per person and is currently available with reservations. Call 702-797-7576 to make reservations.

The Charcoal Room steakhouse at Santa Fe Station is offering a four-course tasting menu. The menu is $65 per person and features homemade strawberry shortcake with fresh whipped cream for dessert. Also serving up Mother's Day tasting menu at Santa Fe is Cabo Mexican Restaurant. Moms and their families can enjoy citrus herbed marinated New York steak with skewered shrimp grilled with veggies and marinated Mexican spices. This four-course tasting menu is offered for $22.99 a person and is available from noon to 9 p.m. on Mother's Day. Reservations are recommended by calling (702) 515-4385.

Several restaurants at Texas Station are also offering special menu items. Austin's Steakhouse is featuring an appetizer, entrée and dessert at a la carte prices. The entree is a seared petit prime steak with Dungeness crab cakes and delectable accoutrements. Texas Star Oyster Bar and San Lorenzo Italian Restaurant are also presenting a la carte items specific for Mother's Day, including "Mom's Strawberry-Banana Cake" available at each restaurant. The Texas Café is presenting a two-course menu for only $12.99 in addition to its regular menu. On May 10, The Feast at Texas Station is offering a Mexican Mother's Day menu that features additional Mexican specialties in conjunction with its regular fare. Reservations are recommended by calling (702) 631-1033 for Austin's Steakhouse and (702) 631-1023 for San Lorenzo.

Fiesta Henderson will feature select dining options for Mother's Day. Restaurants with Mother's Day options include Baja Beach Café, Amigo's Mexican Restaurant, Festival Buffet and Fuego Steakhouse, all offering delicious specialty menu items at great values. Call (702) 558-7000 for more details.

Barley's Casino and Brewing Company, Wild Wild West Hotel and Casino, Wildfire Casino, Gold Rush Casino and Magic Star Casino will all feature a Fried Shrimp Platter for only $5.99 and a slice of free apple pie with the purchase of an entrée.
