(LAS VEGAS, Nev.) - Palace Station Hotel and Casino recently completed a $14 million hotel and meeting room renovation.
The 530 newly designed hotel rooms feature a modern design with a 42-inch flat screen television, modern artwork, new carpet, tile, draperies and double pillow-top mattresses. In addition, four meeting rooms were renovated to include marble entries, flat screen televisions, new light fixtures, conference tables, carpeting and wall coverings.
The hotel and meeting room remodel is the latest reinvestment in Palace Station to bring the most up-to-date and state-of-the-art offerings to its guests. Prior to the hotel tower renovation, Palace Station enhanced its restaurant offerings by redesigning the Feast Buffet in December 2006, to offer more seating and five live-action food stations as well as added a Cabo Mexican restaurant in June, serving up fresh, authentic Mexican dishes. Additionally, new carpet was installed throughout the casino.
Located on Sahara Avenue near I-15, just west of the Las Vegas Strip, Palace Station is the original property of Station Casinos’ growing list of properties. It was opened by Frank Fertitta Jr. as “The Casino” on July 1, 1976. After a series of expansions, including a 21-story hotel tower, the new Palace Station was introduced in 1991 after Frank Fertitta III took over responsibility for the operation of the property from his father.
Palace Station Hotel and Casino features seven full-service restaurants, including the award-winning Pasta Palace, The Broiler and Chang’s; a full array of gaming offerings including a 230-seat race and sports book and 24-hour poker room and live comedic performances nightly in L.A. Comedy Club.
Palace Station is located at 2411 W. Sahara Avenue. Call 702.367.2411 or visit www.palacestation.com for more information.
