BARLEY’S CASINO & BREWING COMPANY CELEBRATES OKTOBERFEST TRADITION OF TAPPING KEGS

Brew Samples and Brewery Tours with Brewmaster Jim Wilson Part of Festivities

Henderson, Nev.—Barley’s Casino & Brewing Company is celebrating the tapping of the first Oktoberfest kegs on Wednesday, October 3 at 7 p.m. in the Brew Pub Lounge located at 4500 E. Sunset Road at Green Valley Pkwy. Award-winning Brewmaster Jim Wilson will also offer a behind-the-scenes brewery tour from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and free samples of the Brewmaster Selects will be available from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. for guests 21 and over.

Oktoberfest is a two week celebration held each year in Munich, Germany since 1810. Participants consume large quantities of beer including a special Oktoberfest brew and feast on traditional German dishes. Many cities around the globe hold their own Oktoberfest celebrations similar to the German event.

Barley’s has been offering signature brews since it opened in January 1996. Wilson has selected a traditional India Pale Ale and a Blonde Double Bock as this year’s Oktoberfest brews. Barley’s regularly features light to dark brews to suit everyone’s taste, including Boulder Gold (Hefeweizen), Blue Diamond (light German Lager) and Red Rock (Amber Lager).

The Oktoberfest party continues:

Barley’s will host a free outdoor concert series continuing the Oktoberfest celebration. The 24 Hour Party People will perform Saturday, October 6 and The Fab, a Beatles tribute band, will perform Saturday, October 13th from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The concerts will be featured on the Barley’s patio and seating is limited.

Ultimate Rewards Club members are eligible for the $1,000 “Pumpkin Patch Cash Drawing” promotion, drawings every Friday and Saturday at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. in October. Guests may qualify for the promotion by earning 25 points. See Rewards Center for details. Rewards Club members can also enjoy seven-times points on Saturdays in October.

Membership in the Barley’s Ultimate Rewards Club is free and members redeem points and free slot play at Barley’s or The Greens Gaming & Dining, located at 2241 North Green Valley Pkwy.
