ZOWIE BOWIE BRINGS THE NOISE AND THE FUNK TO SUNSET STATION THURSDAY NIGHTS AT CLUB MADRID

Henderson, Nev.—Since the opening of Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa in April, Zowie Bowie has been packing the dance floor in Rocks Lounge on Thursdays, Fridays and twice on Saturdays. After a special appearance at Sunset Station in July following the L.L. Cool J. concert, the demand in Henderson has been so great that beginning October 5, Zowie Bowie will perform at Club Madrid at Sunset Station (1301 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, 888.786.7389/702.547.7777) every Thursday night starting at 9:30PM. Doors open at 9PM and admission is free. Their weekend schedule in the Rocks Lounge at Red Rock Casino will remain the same – Friday, 11PM-1:30AM and Saturday, 8:30PM-9:30PM & 11PM-1:30AM. Admission is free.

Zowie Bowie and Marley Taylor are an electrifying vocal duo backed by a five-member band. Featuring covers of current dance hits and the best of disco, rock, hip hop and R&B, Zowie Bowie also performs some of the world’s most beloved songs in their Rat Pack-inspired show every Saturday from 8:30PM-9:30PM. Zowie Bowie arrived in Las Vegas following a lengthy run in Scottsdale, Arizona, that captured a cult following.

Club Madrid is an intimate 500-seat venue regularly featuring a varied lineup of musicians and comedians. In addition to touring headliners and Zowie Bowie, Club Madrid features live entertainment all weekend long – local country group Wolf Creek takes the stage Friday nights from 9PM-1AM (admission is free), the Whip Its turn Club Madrid into an 80’s dance party every Saturday night from 10PM-3AM (admission is free for women, $5 for men), and Sunday night is your turn to be the star with karaoke from 7PM-9PM, followed by live music from local favorites Destiny or AZ One from 9PM-12AM.

Rocks Lounge offers live entertainment in a wild, 7,000-square-foot setting and opens directly onto the casino floor. From a custom leopard-spot glass bar face to tortoise shell light fixtures to a tiger-striped dance floor, Rocks Lounge is sure to bring out the wild side in all its guests. The lounge’s VIP seating area features five oversized “pods,” each with custom zebra chenille “bed” seating and bottle service. The lounge’s color palette was inspired by gemstones such as amber, amethyst and citrine.
