STATION CASINOS 2006 FOOTBALL "CHALLENGE" KICKS OFF AUGUST 1ST

Las Vegas - Station Casinos is starting the 2006 football season with its biggest Challenge yet, and all those who accept have the chance to win the guaranteed minimum $100,000 top prize and to drive off in a new Mercedes GL 450 SUV, courtesy of Fletcher Jones Imports. Registration for The Challenge begins Tuesday, August 1 and ends at 6 p.m. Friday, September 8.

The $1,000 entry fee offers serious players their share of $200,000-100% of all entry fees collected will be returned as prize money (based on 200 entrants). The first place prize is guaranteed at a minimum of $100,000 or 50% of the total entry fees collected, with second and third place winners collecting $20,000 and $10,000 respectively. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top 20 players.

There are three more ways to win in the Station Casinos Challenge: select over 67% winners for the season (57 points) and you'll be able to pull up to your favorite Station Casino in style in a new Mercedes GL 450 SUV. Contestants who register by 6 p.m. Friday, September 1, will also be eligible to compete in the "Beat The House Early Bird Special." Finish ahead of the Station Casinos Bookmaker for the season for the chance at a $10,000 bonus prize. And finally, all players are eligible to compete in The Challenge "Mini Contest." The contestant who accumulates the most points over the final four weeks of the season can win an additional $12,500 prize.

Contestants are limited to three entries each and may place their entries and collect their payouts at the Sports Book at any Station Casino or Fiesta.

The Challenge is based upon picking winning sides against the Station Casinos contest line. Contestants must make five selections each week. Winners will be determined by the most points accumulated during the 2006-2007 College and Pro Football regular season. Weekly selections must be submitted by 6 p.m. each Friday.

Contestants must be 21. Complete rules for The Challenge are available in the Sports Book at all participating properties.
