Overview

Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa is Las Vegas' newest resort owned and operated by Station Casinos, Inc. (NYSE: STN) and is located on 70 acres of land close to the majestic Red Rock mountains in Summerlin. It's approximately 10 miles west of the Las Vegas Strip and a 20-minute drive from McCarran International Airport.

Inspired by the natural beauty of the neighboring Red Rock mountains, the property pays homage to the elegant desert oasis resorts of the mid-20th century. The feel is classic, cool Las Vegas, reinvented for the 21st Century.

Designed with all the services and amenities to become a five-star/five-diamond property, Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa redefines how casinos are designed, incorporating natural light and the comforts of a modern lifestyle into the space.

Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa is Station Casinos' 15th property in Southern Nevada.

The property is being built in three phases:

  • Phase I features 414 rooms and suites throughout a 17-floor tower offering spectacular views of the Las Vegas Strip and Red Rock mountains
  • Phase II will add 436 more hotel rooms for a total of more than 800 rooms by early 2007, as well as a spa expansion of approximately 10,000 additional square feet to the existing 25,000 square feet
  • Phase III will feature a 72-lane bowling center and additional parking and is scheduled to be completed by third quarter 2007

Approximately $925 million, the most expensive (per key) resort ever built off the Strip.

Design

The fresh, contemporary, desert-modern architecture at Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa is the pinnacle of Station Casinos, Inc.'s, luxury resorts.

Every detail, from the 3.1 million pieces of crystals in the colossal chandeliers to the miles of onyx adorning the walls, is a blend of warmth and contemporary design. Rich reds, golds and browns, inspired by the nearby Red Rock mountains, are the foundation of the color palette, and the finest materials, from the Venetian plaster walls to the gold-leafed ceilings, convey a feeling of comfortable elegance.

Casino

The casino features comprehensive and state-of-the-art gaming including:

Hotel

From more than 500 square feet for a standard room up to 4,400 square feet for suites, the guest rooms at Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa are some of the largest and most lavish in Las Vegas. Standard room features include: voice over Internet protocol phone, 42" high-definition plasma television, Bose sound system with iPod connectivity, guest robes and slippers, in-room martini bar and 15" LCD television in the bathroom.

Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa offers guest 45 luxury suites in six styles, including:

  • Signature Suites, ranging from 1,030 square feet to 1,545 square feet, are available with one or two bedrooms, one and a half bathrooms and a parlor area with wet bar
  • Luxury Suites, ranging from 1,545 square feet to 2,060 square feet, are available with one or two bedrooms, one and a half full-marble bathrooms and a parlor area with wet bar
  • Presidential Suites each provide 2,575 square feet of space and includes two bedrooms, his and hers bathrooms adjoining the master bedroom, an additional one and half bathrooms, a parlor with a dining area, large wet bar and pantry area
  • Villa and Grand Villa Suites, ranging from 2,575 square feet to 3,090 square feet, each offer two bedrooms, his and hers bathrooms adjoining the master bedroom, an additional one and half bathrooms, a parlor with large wet bar, pool table, pantry area, private patio with views of the sandbar pool backyard area and Red Rock mountains, a large bar and private whirlpool spa with room for 10 people

Hotel Penthouse Suites

Situated on the top floor of the hotel tower, four penthouse suites were designed to offer the ultimate in luxury and each features a unique design.

  • Viva Las Vegas and Top of the Rock each offer 4,400 square feet of space with two bedrooms, a Jacuzzi-style bathtub in the master bedroom with an attached fireplace, two bathrooms, a powder room, a large, sunken living room and bar area, and private patio with views of the sandbar pool backyard area and Red Rock mountains. While Top of the Rock features darker colors, walnut wood, patina bronze, Viva Las Vegas showcases lighter colors, cherry wood, green onyx and stainless steel
  • Lucky offers 4,400 square feet of space in deep shades of purple and blue and two bedrooms off an oval-shaped living room. Also included is a large, Jacuzzi-style bathtub in the master bedroom, a bar with seating for 8 people, two bathrooms, a powder room, and private patio with views of the sandbar pool backyard and Red Rock mountains
  • Cherry features 4,400 square feet of space to throw an exclusive party with four distinct circular rooms, including a master bedroom, bar room, living area and guest bedroom. Unique features such as a 8'-diameter, glass-enclosed shower in the center of the master bedroom, a large circular bar with seating and a private patio on the tower's penthouse level with views of the Strip make this suite one of a kind

Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa features nine restaurants and a food court with diverse food offerings and price points to satisfy everyone's cravings and budget. Most restaurants also feature outdoor patio seating. Dining options include:

Spa

The 25,000 square-foot Spa at Red Rock Las Vegas offers a sleek, ultra-modern retreat that promotes health, relaxation and rejuvenation. In 2007, an additional 10,000 square feet will be added. Drenched in rich shades of red and clean creams and whites, the space envelops guests in a luxurious atmosphere, provides them with a calming sense of privacy and offers:

  • 20 treatment rooms, with three suites, plus three outdoor cabanas
  • Men's and women's spa lounges; relaxation areas; locker rooms with vanities and steam, sauna and cool plunges; and spa rooms
  • Special VIP suites with bathtubs for two, indoor/outdoor areas and two treatment tables for couples treatments
  • Outdoor spa amenities, including outdoor treatment decks adjoining some treatment rooms, lounging deck, lap pool, cabanas and a yoga garden
  • A fitness area within the spa featuring cardiovascular equipment, weights and weight machines, a movement studio and boxing gym

Adventure Spa

The resort takes advantage of its proximity to Red Rock Canyon and other national and state parks in the country by offering customized adventure activities such as hiking, rock climbing and mountain biking.

Entertainment

  • Cherry Nightclub is operated by Rande Gerber's Midnight Oil Company (the operator of The Whiskey bars and clubs at Green Valley Ranch and in New York and Los Angeles). The nightclub features a private outdoor pool area attached to the club
  • Bars and Lounges: Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa also features numerous bars and lounges, including Rocks Lounge, Onyx Bar, Sand Bar and Lucky Bar (similar to Green Valley Ranch's popular Drop Bar)
  • Sandbar Pool Backyard: The centerpiece of the casino resort can be seen from every vantage point on the property. Situated on three acres, the backyard offers a pool area, which includes a main pool with an interactive fountain feature, a private pool area, cabanas, sixwading pools, an exciting poolside gaming environment featuring blackjack tables, a café and poolside beverage service The pool area also serves as an entertainment venue and can host a variety of public and private events and concerts for as many as 3,000 people. Sting graced the stage on grand opening night as the first performer
  • Movies: A 16-screen theatre is operated by Regal Cinemas and offer four private VIP viewing boxes

Meeting and Event Space

A 94,000-square-foot facility offers meeting, convention and banquet space to accommodate groups from 15 to 1,500.

  • Many rooms overlook the sandbar pool backyard area and have outdoor patios
  • Four ballrooms ranging from 5,000 square feet to 20,000 square feet that can be converted into up to 21 rooms
