FREE FOOTBALL CONTEST REGISTRATION BEGINS

Las Vegas-Fiesta Rancho, Fiesta Henderson, Wild Wild West, Wildfire, Barley's, Gold Rush and Magic Star today announced registration for its popular $250,000 "Football Frenzy" Contest, voted "Best Free Football Contest" in Las Vegas, begins August 12. The first entry into the contest is free.

A total of $170,000 in weekly prize money will be awarded during the 17-week regular NFL season. Each week, $10,000 will be paid to the participants choosing the most winning teams.

At season's end, $50,000 in cash and prizes will be awarded to the 100 participants with the best overall record of wins, with the first-place contestant walking off the field with $10,000. In all, area football fans will score $250,000 in cash and prizes during the Football Frenzy. Each week, contestants simply submit their drawing ticket along with their weekly picks to be entered into the end-of-season prize drawing.

The end of season drawing prizes are a Plasma HDTV, a home theater system and a recliner for first prize; a barbecue grill for second prize; a recliner chair for third prize; a portable DVD player for forth prize; and a DVD/VCR player for fifth prize.

Contestants can check their weekly standings online at www.myfootballfrenzy.com. And for the first time contestants may enter their weekly picks at convenient kiosks located at each Football Frenzy location.

Participants can register for the contest using their Amigo Club or Football Frenzy Card at any of the seven participating casinos. The first entry is free, with additional entries available for $10 per entry, with a maximum of two paid entries allowed per person. With the first paid entry, participants receive a stadium seat bonus gift in the spirit of football season.
