RANDE GERBER TO REINVENT THE WHISKEY

02/15/05 Henderson, NV - Rande Gerber's signature bar, THE WHISKEY Las Vegas, will undergo major renovations beginning this Monday, February 7th, that are sure to make the lounge sexier than ever. THE WHISKEY, at The Green Valley Ranch Resort in Las Vegas, already an innovative and spectacular nightspot, and adult playground, features a lush outdoor area with private cabanas and day beds, flat screen televisions, and a panoramic view of the Las Vegas strip. The newly renovated bar will debut to the public with a soft reopening slated for March 2005.

The redesign of THE WHISKEY will remain as always, daring and provocative, unlike anything Las Vegas has seen before. Once again, Gerber will team up with Yabu Pushelberg, designer of Gerber's Stone Rose Lounge in the Time Warner Center New York, as well as Whiskey Blue Los Angeles. The original bars were created as a captivating desert oasis for those seeking to avoid the chaos of the strip, while still indulging in the excitement and action expected from Las Vegas. "With the enormous success of The Whiskey and Green Valley Ranch Resort, we are very excited to have this opportunity to redesign such an amazing space and enhance it even more for our loyal customers," said Rande Gerber.

The sultry retreat will feature a variety of options for guests, ranging from a dance club with a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system, to an intimate lounge. The remodel is part of the $115 million overall expansion of the Green Valley Ranch and Spa in Henderson, Nevada bringing much-needed additional rooms and meeting space to the AAA, four-diamond property. The renovation adds 262 deluxe rooms and 34 new suites, including the 2,500 square foot Whiskey Suite and the luxury Penthouse Suite which is more than 5,000 square feet.

"This expansion is a reflection of the overwhelming success we've experienced with this property. We're in a much better position to meet demand while continuing to provide first class service and amenities to our guests while maintaining our status as a premier Las Vegas destination," said Joe Hasson, general manager of Green Valley Ranch Resort & Spa.

The reopening of THE WHISKEY is highly anticipated with a grand re-opening scheduled for May.
