Las Vegas, Nev.- Station Casinos, Inc. ("Station"), a Nevada-based, publicly-traded gaming corporation, has launched www.stationcasinosreno.com in an effort to introduce itself to the Northern Nevada community and create a forum for feedback and dialogue about its commitment and projects in Reno.
Since May, Station has announced its intention to develop two regional entertainment destinations in Reno; one off Mt. Rose Highway and I-395 next to The Summit Sierra lifestyle shopping center and one across the street from the Reno Sparks Convention Center. The two projects usher in a significant commitment by Station to the Northern Nevada market to build world-class entertainment destinations similar in quality to Green Valley Ranch Station Casino in Henderson, Nev.
Initially, the website will feature background on the Company, up-to-date information about the two projects to be developed and will offer a forum for residents to ask questions and share their feedback with the Company. While both projects are in the infancy of development, the Company wanted to create a venue to share information and open the lines of communication for feedback and concerns.
"We are excited about entering the Reno market and are very committed to bringing quality entertainment destinations to the area to appeal to both locals and tourists," Scott Nielson, Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer for Station said. "We felt as one of our first steps that it's important to introduce ourselves to the community and invite people to give us their feedback; we want to be able to address any suggestions or concerns about our plans."
As part of the website launch, a direct mail piece has been mailed to approximately 20,000 South Reno residents to give people a flavor for what they can expect in South Reno and invite them to learn more about the Company at www.stationcasinosreno.com.
