MORE THAN $400,000 FOR HURRICANE KATRINA RELIEF EFFORTS

Salvation Army notes contribution as single largest cash donation in Las Vegas history

(Las Vegas, Nev.)-In response to the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina, Station Casinos hosted a week-long fundraising campaign that raised $421,587.53 by challenging its employees and guests from its 13 Southern Nevada properties to donate. The Company further encouraged participation by offering a Company contribution match up to $250,000. The successful fundraising effort ran from September 2-9 and in total, Station Casinos' guests and its 11,000 employees raised an impressive $171,587.53.

"We were so overwhelmed by the outpouring of support and donations by our employees and guests that we have decided to increase the Company's donation from a financial match to a $250,000 overall contribution," Lorenzo Fertitta, president of Station Casinos said.

The funds raised were donated to the Salvation Army with 100 percent of proceeds directly benefiting Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. "This is the largest cash donation for a catastrophic event in the Salvation Army's Las Vegas history," Charlie Desiderio, Salvation Army director of development said.

In addition to raising funds for Hurricane Katrina relief efforts, Station Casinos hosted job fairs and expedited the hiring process for hurricane evacuees that relocated to Las Vegas which resulted in approximately 90 job offers. The Company also hosted more than 60 fire, police and emergency medical response workers at its various properties over the past few weeks to offer up some well-deserved rest and relaxation for the hard working rescue workers.

Founded in 1976 with Palace Station, Station Casinos operates 13 properties in Southern Nevada that include various amenities, including numerous restaurants, entertainment venues, movie theaters, bowling, hotel rooms and convention/banquet space, as well as traditional casino gaming offerings.
