What is the Station Casinos Supplier Diversity Program?
Station Casinos is committed to Diversity at every level of our Corporate Structure. Our Diversity Program offers MBE, WBE, DBE, and SBE vendors one-on-one access to purchasing representatives, information sessions, workshops and seminars relative to procurement strategies, and networking opportunities.
How can I participate in the Stations Casinos Supplier Diversity Program?
In order to participate in the Diversity Program, you must 1) be certified as a minority or women owned business by one of the certifying agencies listed on the certification page; 2) submit a vendor profile form; and 3) meet the quality and bid specifications for Station Casinos, Inc.
I am not certified as a minority/women owned business or I am self-certified, what is my next step?
In order to participate in the Diversity Program, you must be certified as a minority or women-owned business by a non-profit organization that we recognize or by a government agency; i.e. third party certification. We do not accept self-certification. We recommend that you contact one of the for further information.
How long does the process take?
Once your application is complete, a representative from the Station Casinos Supplier Diversity Program will contact you, usually within a six-week period.
What does "certification" mean?
Certification means that your company's day-to-day operations and ownership structure have been thoroughly reviewed by one of the accepted certifying agencies and it has been determined to be consistent with a business that meets the following criteria.
At least 51% of the business or at least 51% of the stock is owned by an ethnic group member(s) or woman. Furthermore, that ownership interest must control and operate the business. Control means actively having the power to make policy decisions and operated means involved in the day-to-day management of the business.
