Diversity in Action
Periodically, Station Casinos offers Vendor Workshops. The Diversity Vendor Workshops are not "trade shows" but a "how to shows". The workshops focus on helping MBE, WBE, DBE, and SBE successfully build business relationships with larger companies including Station Casinos, Inc.
The workshops are conducted in participation with local and national MBE, WBE, DBE, and SBE advocacy groups.
The workshops may include:
- Information regarding the bidding process inherent to securing purchasing and construction contracts.
- Information regarding business etiquette including how to make presentations and how to submit proposals.
- Information regarding strategic alliances such as the role of banks, lawyers, and the accountants.
- Information regarding the certification process for MBE, WBE, DBE, and SBE Certification covering what the certification process is, and why it is important.
- Information regarding opportunities for MBE, WBE, DBE, and SBE at Station Casinos, Inc.
