Smart Start School Partnership
Through our Smart Start program we contribute a half a million dollars annually to Clark County’s most economically challenged primary schools. Each of our properties partner with one of these high need elementary schools, providing volunteers and resources to ensure that those kids with challenging financial situations at home are assured access to the tools and opportunities that will help them become successful adults.
In 2006, Station Casinos contributed to 70 high need elementary schools, roughly a third of all elementary schools in the district. This contribution helped reach 55,137 students in 2,360 classrooms. In addition, Station Casinos added two new schools this year bringing our total partnership to 11 schools and growing.
